Unlike most of you, I never got into the Batman/Superman phenomenon. Consider me a noob when it comes to super heroes and villains of the DC universe, which I admittedly am. And if my memory serves me correctly, I don’t think I’ve ever purchased a game solely for a comic hero or a combination of ‘em. However, after watching the new Trailer for DC Universe Online, I’ve become quite interested in the game. From what I understand it’s an MMORPG, and if you know me, you know that I don’t really care for MMOs … I think that’s going to change though with this game.
A lot of questions popped up in my head after watching the trailer. I was tempted to google and Wikipedia all those answers but I’ve decided to have one big discussion with the VGC community instead. I hope you guys can answer these questions while adding your own opinions, thoughts and predictions to this discussion.
Some of these questions may seem silly:
· Why is the World in ruins?
· Why is Lex so bent on killing Superman?
· What are those robots that Wonder Woman is fighting?
· Who was that giant woman who died early in the trailer?
· Who is red (orangish) guy battling it out with Green Lantern?
· Better yet, can someone please categorize everyone according to what team they’re on?
· What’s with the “Iron” Batman?
· That Cyborg resembles the Cyborg from Teen Titans, and that ninja looks like Slade! What gives? ( I only recognized them because my nephews would always watch Teen Titans a few years back)
· Who’s the clown chick?
· What’s so special about Wonder Woman’s rope?
· How did that orange guy get so powerful all of a sudden? He can really pack a punch!
· … ok, how did Green Lantern explode?
· What’s Superman doing in space, and why are his eyes red?
· Superman shouts out, “Batman!” yet Batman is nowhere to be seen. I don’t get that part.
· Who the flying-flip is Brainiac?
