Microsoft and the Xbox 360 revolutionized online gaming and communities, created the concept of achievements, pitched out (whether successful or not) ideas to the industry with Kinect, violently drove down the price of the PS3 to a reasonable level (which would NOT have happened if the Wii was their only contender), and produced/funded some of the best games of our time.
Yea I wish they'd leave the business. *rolls eyes*
