I'm not too surprised about Tales of Graces going over to the PS3. I do think it will do better but only because the problems that hurt the Wii version won't hurt the PS3 version. Tales of Graces had one of the worst launches I've ever seen. The timing for the release was horrible. New Super Mario Bros. Wii one week and Final Fantasy XIII for the PS3 the next? Not to mention the slew of other titles released as well. There was really no room for it. Namco should've delayed the title to try and get higher sales. Not to mention the problems that effected the game. The biggest one I heard was problems with the replay games. Anyone who's played a Tales title knows that half of the fun of playing one is the replay bonus. Its what keeps those gamers going back and playing more. If they had delayed the game, they probably would've been able to fix the bugs that plagued the game.
I hope that some version of the game comes to the States. I'd prefer it on the Wii but I don't mind playing on my PS3. Currently, my PS3 only gets use as a movie player. Used to have more games for it, only have FFXIII now, but I traded them in to get a WII and games. I've been playing on my Wii more since.
Also, not even remotely surprised about Tales of the World: RM3. I bet $10 on that one getting announced. I even bet on the next Tales of title going to the PS3. Only made sense, as much I hate to admit. Hopefully this will bring the Tales series back to the glory it once had.
