Nintendo never made a loss on the GCN. Losing money on a console even a $1 has never been an option for the company. Many press conferences and reports have shown that GCN was never sold for a loss and the statement that they loss a $1 on the console just shows how desperate ppl are to make up crap that isn't even true. Actually it looks quite embarrassing and desperate how ppl make shit up!!! Sony on the other hand has always lost money on consoles and with the upcoming Move bundle and price war with M$...I doubt the long term sustainability of the profit they are making on the PS3!!!
