I'll just say this one more time to conclude what I'm saying.
That women died. Sucks for her and her child. I don't enjoy death.
This man /could/ have saved her. If he did, that's all fine and dandy! But he was in no way shape or form required to save her UNLESS he was on the clock. Regardless of some "oath" he took, he isn't REQUIRED to help unless he is being paid or rewarded in another way.
I'm trying to be as realistic as possible here.
