My point was more along the lines of, if they're never going to do anything with the series, they may as well make some cash off it by dumping it on the VC, or selling the franchise.

There is also no way anyone can say "it is never getting released" , they have already released ActRaiser on the VC and have stated they would support it. Since they seem intent on rehashing everything they have done, it's likely we would see it on the VC eventually. I just hope we see more, and I can always dream that Nintendo would buy them out and utilize their IP's much better (Ogre Quest, Tactics, Chrono Trigger (Im countin Chrono Cross here, it wasn't bad), SoM and others as well).
