You have to wonder how the second hand market affects the software sales during periods such as this. I am sure a large propotion of new owners are buying pre-owned after all a lot of the shops push this on you because of the improved margins so it is not really a big suprise. What will be interesting is what happens to the newer items not so freely available as pre-owned.
