The PS3 may unfortunately be the circumstance if GTA5 is PS3 exclusvie a factor which will diminish the franchises' fanbase to the point that it can no longer sustain itself as the giant it used to be. Rock Star really needs to be careful with how they handle their cash cow franchise. I'm sure they're convinced people will buy it no matter where it goes, but... then again I can think of a Company who thought similarily of their next gen console this generation and let's just say that such arrogance hasn't paid off as they would have hoped. |
No. How about Mario, Zelda, Metriod, Gran Turismo, Duke Nukem, Doom, Mortal Kombat, Street Fighter, Resident Evil, Final Fantasy, Dragon Quest, and many others? They have withstood the test of time. Im sure GTA, Halo, Gears of War, Kingdom Hearts, and many others can too.
