The section is clearly called Microsoft Forum. And as the game is actually a Games For Windows game, and not just a standard PC game, it's completely justified for it to be called a M$ exclusive. No other operating system can run it, and no other console can run it. Only M$ products. |
As far as I am concerned the ‘Microsoft’ forum with respect to gaming, is for the Xbox, perhaps I am reading its description too literally though. From a financial perspective, it would make complete sense IMO, but when you are raising awareness/having a general discussion for a multiplatform game it should be in the general gaming forum.
It’s not like we have a sub-forum for every individual publisher, why should manufacturing a console change that? Beyond the balance sheet I see no reason for the term MS exclusive; it’s like saying Ubisoft/Blizzard/etc. exclusive.
" Wait a second... Are you trying to say that a game developed by Microsoft, published by Microsoft on a console made by Microsoft and also released on the Microsoft service "Games for Windows", shouldn't be in the Microsoft forums? "
Being exclusive to a publisher, apart from the balance sheet, is not worth noting. Sure you can make the distinction, but it’s pointless.
