| shio said: Your views really are dated when you think that you need a $1500 PC to play games. Nowadays you can get a GOOD Gaming PC for only $400. 95% of PCs being sold are now under $1000, with most of them also under $750. Today, $1000 will net you an EXCELLENT GAMING PC!! My 2003 PC was almost able to play Starcraft 2, 2010's Biggest Game. You should get yourself updated. |
Where is this notion coming from that you can build a "good" gaming PC for 400?
Something like Radeon 5570 and 2 GB of value ram is considered a good PC now?
Sure it does the job on medium/high setting with no AA at 720p on most games (good luck with Crysis though) but I wouldn't call it "good".
Also, considering that you have 400 and don't have money to buy a monitor and have to game on your 42 inch plasma in the livingroom...no AA and 720p will be pretty annoying.
The truth is, you really need 700 bucks to get a comfortable gaming PC set up.
