Would the psn prosper with ps2 games instead of ps1 classics?

omg why does no one get this there is no ps2 compatibility on ps3 because there still selling ps2 if they put emulation on ps3 it would just make ps2 obsolete and they wouldnt sell anymore ps2 emulation will come as soon as the ps2 is discontinued which i think will be at the beginning on 2012
