Anything less than 80% is garbage. There isn't a single game, that was a universal success, that scored less than 80%, so by default, those get erased. Now, 80%-89.99%, are "good" games. 90%+ are masterpieces. That's just how it is. Why play a 75% game when you can play an 85% game? Sure, the PSP has more 80%-89.99% games, than the DS, but a console scores big with how many 90%+ games it has. And if you eliminate your typical sports games, racing games, and such, than the PSP's library of 80%+ games are severely stripped down. Now if you excuse me, New Super Mario Bros. on my DS is calling me... |
How many sales do you consider a "universal success". Crash Banidcoot: Wrath of Cortex sold about 5 million copies boasting a metacritic score of 66%.
