And thats why its taking so long, the user generated content. Making sure that works well and as bug free as possible is going to be difficult. Plus I doubt that the team developing LBP is that large.

EDIT; Originally it was claimed that the game would make it out before the end of this year - "According to Harrison, LittleBigPlanet will hit the PlayStation Network "later this year" and on Blu-ray disc early next year."

Yeah, but that's not an EXACT date! So it's not really a delay! Exact dates have numbers in em. Like 7, and 42. But not 42.
