Not all religious points of view deserve tolerance. The view that apostates should be killed (a feature of many religions) for example should be treated with scorn and ridicule at every turn. Not all religious rights should be allowed, since the moral standards are constantly evolving.
The question of wether this is one of those cases is very debatable however, and isn't as clean cut as say, changing laws and cultural norms (or acknowledging the changing moral norms that already exist) so apostates aren't killed is.
