New experience? Isn't Kinect just a beefed up eye toy?

I get what he's saying. It's new to the average Joe. If someone sees MOVE, they'll probably think of the wii (everyone knows about wii). If someone see Kinect, they probably won't think of the eyetoy/EYE (EYE isn't that famous).
