At this pricing Kinect may sell over 5 million this holiday and the $199 slim Arcade launching in August is going to be massive. I thought MS blew it at E3 not discussing these details, but better late than never. |
Microsoft was smart not burying the details of the Kinect launch and bundles at E3. Now a month later, they can keep Kinect in the news and they got to undercut Sony's PS3/Move bundle by $100. I also think they made a wise decision of packaging Kinect Adventures with it instead of Kinect Sports. Everybody has already played Wii Sports. At Least Kinect Adventures has the perception of being a different experience.
Barring an unforeseen disaster Microsoft is primed for a great holiday.
