Didn't selnor post several hundred times how, thanks to his insider knowledge of the GAME preorder system, there was no way Kinect would cost more than £70-80?

£130 is an awful lot to swallow when you can pick up the console itself for a tenner less.

Can't get over how expensive the games are, either - £40 is incredibly steep.

Thats too expensive for the UK and EU

Its also a rip off on conversion rates.  I dont get it:

The 360S cost $299 or £199 that  means that the $150 kinect should be £99.    Is this price confirmed?

But on your last point...  £40 isnt incredibly steep and we all know they will end up being cheaper...  the rrp of full games is more than they sell for too, it is ALWAYS £5 or £10 off.   When does anyone ever pay full price for a game anywhere?

Oh and the console is £20 more (360S 4gb - £149.99)... not £10 less.  The old consoles will be gone by the time this launches.

£130 is a direct quote from Greenberg; check the link I supplied there.

And I know the fat Arcades will be gone by the time Kinect arrives, but my point is merely that today £120 will get me the 360 console yet in a few months time that same figure won't cover the cost of the 360's new peripheral. Just the perspective a wallet-conscious consumer may take.
