DarkD, I believe I beat most of the games you were talking about, and about 10 other games as well for the SNES/Sega years. Viva Pinata is a fantastic game. Although it has kiddie elements in it (colorful pinata with great awesome names).
But the fact is it's just a colorful Sim Farm (remember Sim farm im 1993?), which is why I loved the game. The abilities might of changed, but the game was just so dang fun.
Kiddie games would be all those DS crappy games, and PS2 games that were based off movies - I should know. My G/Fs niece has over 50 PS2 games, and 47 of the games are way too childish to even think of playing. Shes 7 by the way, and has an NDS, GBASP, PS2, PS3 and probably 75 games between all of them.
Back from the dead, I'm afraid.
