This guy robbed this woman of 10 years of her life.  He stayed with her and refused to marry her even though he knew that it was what she wanted.  To top it off he apparently conspired to marry her daughter.

I feel bad for him but I feel so much worse for the woman.  Put yourself in her shoes, how would you feel if you loved someone for 10 years and they kept you around to use you yet didn't value you enough to marry you.  Furthermore, they try to marry your child.  And then you look around and see all your friends and family finding men who actually want to marry them.  You'd probably feel like a worthless piece of trash.

I don't think anyone should be forced to get married and I truly hope that this guy finds happiness in the future, but he should strongly consider taking other peoples' feelings into consideration.

It's her fault for not dumping his ass. It was obvious that he didn't want to marry her. What was she expecting? If anyone's to blame for her feeling like a "wothless piece of trash" it's herself.

What a great view point there, make it out to be the woman's fault. Bravo.

I pretty much agree with Garvey's view.

Hmm, pie.
