hate to break it to ya, but yes, sci-fi DOES need to keep things in check. Why? Because of SCIENCE, science is nothing but rules and explanations and Nolan did in such a way that it didn't feel like a clumsy, boring infodump like most sci-fi. Very nice in that you insult respectable critics and the public by calling them "bankrupt on imagination", GREAT way to sell your argument.
