14-year-olds do not have the necessary psychological development to consent to sex. This is why there is a thing such as age of consent. It's the standard age where a person is considered to have the necessary psychological development to understand sex and it's consiquences and to be truly capable of making the decision to have sex. It has nothing to do with culture. Hundreds of years ago modern psychology didn't exist.

This isn't fact, just opinion.

You act like 14 year olds aren't having consensual sex with each other. No matter what age you are putting your penis is wet hole feels great. And no matter the age, people sometimes forget the consequences.

14-year-olds having sex with eachother is something fundemantally different than a mature woman sexually abusing a teenage boy.

My point is many 14 year old boys would gladly have sex with a 14 year old girls or even a mature woman.

Its not sexual abuse. The kid wanted it and I'm sure he enjoyed it.

I don't condone having sex with minors but a prison sentance that long is completely ridiculous. Especially considering no one is acually hurt and it was consensual.

1. The boy was hurt. He went to a consular and will probably be traumatised for life. Don't underestimate the effects that sexual abuse can have on a person.

2. It was not consensual. There's no such thing as consensual sex with minor.

That horrible rapist got exactly what she deserves.
