i also get the impression sony are just doing this to compete on the same level with M$, they've shown some nice stuff for it, like socercy, or little big planet 2. and we might get a nice treat in the form of nintendo wii cross platform shovel ware. and personally i dont really care, as long as they continue to support core games more than kiddy shovel-ware i'm happy.
