Well the cell has it's advantages, but it cannot wipe away all its disadvantages. The only thing the PS3 has over PC's is possibly the cell. Which I am a fan of. But the PS3, has flaws in the design as you're finding out here. The ps3 uses an outdated modified 7800gtx chip, right after release a much much faster 8800 gtx was released for PC's with much faster then those released now. but RSX does not take full load,it was never designed to so it being older doesn't make a valid argument point The ram in the ps3 is just low, with 512mb. Compared to 2-4gb's in computers sold now adays. with more with enthusiast. yes that is the case but the ram was more than enough for PS3 and is still excelling at games Crytek is nothing till the time they can make a good console optimized game that is know to be the best at technical things their games on PC brag about You can make up some shortcomings because PC's are like a fruitcake and they're all different so they are not optimized. And the cell has benefits. But if you need more ram, you just need more ram. agree |
