Actually very possible, you see Wii production isn't stuck at 1.8, it was set at 1.8 five months ago (as it takes five months to order parts from suppliers)but it can be ramped up, wii will easily pass 40 million next year and 80 million by end of 2009.

I feel it if I do not speak the English well, I am Spanish...

 

PS2 sold very well during 7 years, the Wii will not have a so long life. So that? Then because it is not good for extending the life of a console. 

It even watches the SNES, being first when it left the PSX and Saturn. And when it left the N64 already was too much late. Exactly the same it has happened to him to the PS3 with PS2.

 

I do not believe that the Wii lets be sold without reason.

What I think is that we are going to have a Next Gene, soon, because the companies have learned their errors. Good looking that will leave between 2010 and 2011, by that reason the Wii will not surpass in sales to the PS2.

 No Wii will last as long or even longer than the PS2, hardware means nothing with regards to lifespan of a console
