How are Sony not serious about Move? I know they're not exactly betting the farm on it, but they have plenty of support for it as far as I can tell, both from 1st and 3rd parties.

In the interview he is saying Sony isn't supporting or preparing the retail stores for move.. Microsoft having special training sessions, instore assets etc.. while Sony only send out a flyer... If Microsoft plays the game well it will have waaay more exposure in the stores then Move..

@ bolded.  I think this is  abad thing, most people with stuff like Kinect/wii/move want to plug it in a play, not go through a seminar. But thats rather off topic and for another thread.

Of course MSFT is betting virtually their entire gaming division around Kinect, just look at their E3 press conference, theyre naturally going to be more concerned with its outcome.

Its allocation of resources, and direction, this is awfully paranoid and sounds rather concerning about how much faith he has in the distinct experience natal will provide gamers with.

I just wonder, if Natal is so groundbreaking and distinguishable, why is he complaining of FUD from a wii clone?

The HDDVD example is ludicrous, having MSFT and Toshiba drag it on when the bulk of all manufacturesr/studios either supported both or BD is different than this. With the motion controls virtually every 3rd party is on board with both devices, its not like Sony is moneyhatting content the way MSFT moneyhatted for HDDVD to stay afloat under false circumstances created by 2 companies.
