The biggest killers of muslims in the world are other muslims. Its as simple as that.
I have no idea if they supported the attacks, I personally find it doubtful but you never know. But it still doesn't change the above fact that the greatest violent threat to muslims is the conflicts between the different sects of islam. The west pales in comparison.
