FF IVs sound awful?  I think it has arguably the best soundtrack of any game and the DS remake completely does it justice.

A full remake on home consoles would take far far longer, cost far far more and considering current gen S-E games on the DS compared to the PS3, I think it will be better suited to a portable.  

Matrix software has done wonders with FF III and IV DS, giving them FF V, VI and possibly VII to do for the 3DS could be the best next gen decision S-E will make.

I'm not talking about the writing. that's irrelevant since it's already written.
I'm talking about the quality, it sounds fuzzy. I'm talking about, will it allow orchestration. So it will sound like FF:Distant worlds. etc.

I'm just saying, I'd rather have a new game. Than a game I loved, and accept how it is with touched up graphics.
And if they redo, go all out. And not on handheld. (But I hate handhelds in general)
