Also most people didn't have PS2s that could go online. Thats why FF11 sold so poorly on the PS2. I didn't even have an internet connection until 6 months before the PS3 launched. If my PS2 was capable of going online then I would have bought FF11. Loads of people that love FF were in the same boat as me.

Oh definitely. Back when it launched, broadband internet was highly scarce. I didn't have that. I had dial-up for forever. But I had a way to scam my internet company though. So I never had to pay for it thank god.

But when I finally did I still needed the hard-drive, ethernet cords, and some big black thing that you put on the back of your fat PS2. The name escapes me atm.

This time it will launch better IMO. It will not be amazing. But it will be better

I didn't name the add ons you needed for the fat PS2s either cause I didn't know the name lol but bottom line is FF11 released to .to an audience that wasn't equipt for it. FF14 will be a success on consols because consols these days have everything.

Also man the people who are saying negative things about FF14 are just hurt that there platform of choice isn't getting it. If there platform was getting it they would be saying the complete opposite.
