yes, but we can all agree that a winner is a winner. and we all know that jordan could not have won without pippen. if i am to choose between two great players, one who has championship rings and the other who doesn't, i would always choose the one who does, because he has championship experience, and he is a proven winner.
about horry. well, we all know the truth about horry. he's in my team, no matter how little of a role he plays. i just need him defrosted for the last 2 minutes of the game. in that span of time, he's the MVP of any team. how many games have been decided by horry's heroics? too many to count.
to me, winning championships is what separates a good player from a great player. barkley, malone, stockton, etc. are good players. they may be better individual players than pippen. but without a championship, they'll always be just that. good individual players, not great champions.
