I'm not sure it should be banned. However, any man that forces a woman to wear it should be fined/prosecuted.

Of course if a person needs to take the veil off for security reasons then they should be forced too if they refuse. But beyond that I'm not sure if it should be completely banned.

BTW I'm sick and tired of people attempting to connect criticism of islam to racism. Religion is something that you are taught/indoctrinated into from an early age and can be changed or rejected completely. Race is something that cannot be changed and race doesn't have a set of moral beliefs or anything of the like. It doesn't make any claims at all. Thus any criticism of it is reprehensible.

Criticising a religion that says its the last revelation of God seems to me to be logical. All religions make huge claims with next to no evidence supporting their claims and yet one can't critique it? And if you do you're racist?

I completely reject that assumption. I will be skeptical towards all religious claims and if that makes a religious person feel upset then too bad. If the only way you can shut down an issue is by pulling the racist card and getting terribly upset then it just shows how little ground and how weak your position is if it can't withstand logical debate. Anyone that can't win a debate without the use of political correctness, calls of racism and being upset (let alone threats of violence) are actually weakning their position every time they do this.
