Ego is when you think you have accomplished something because you have some quality others don't have. That somehow your better then the next guy.

What I have, is pride. I am proud to have gotten where I am, because I worked hard for it with no inherent advantages.

We all have ego at certain areas, the parts where we don't have it, we make it up with hard work, and then everything goes into pride, which is an awsome feeling if you ask me, as long as we don't show that pride and turn it into confidence lol.
