Yes, there's an important GT5 fan base in France (cause important tuning fan's)...Personnaly, I prefer Forza, F1 2009/10 and MK...

I think GT 5 is just a beautiful car's movie...F1 10 will be a more realistic and original game. Yes, I know, USA people is not fan of Formula one cause Indycar...But good for europe and japan!
