Well, sorry if i gave that impression, re-reading my post i can see how it comes off that way but i did say "making comments about rape and murder.....is childish and immature" thus i wasnt saying HE was, im saying i feel his arguments basis is, which i stand by...i feel those types of arguments arent compelling and are weak, i never said anything about the poster.

I wasn't bothered by it. I just wanted to make it clear that by engaging with him in such a way you were infact bringing yourself down to his level. Probably your best course of action would have been to report his distasteful comment because from what I recall he has been banned for similar in the past.
