They had an opportunity but they chose not to partake in it. I wonder if the small quantity of venom in his words are due to disapointment in himself for not also publishing on Live. After the fact he could probably do the mathematics in his head because his game would have been a top tier game on Live so therefore its sales would have reflected not the competition or average potential but closer to the top potential sales a game can typically expect.
So depending on where and how you figure the numbers he got between half and 1/3rd of his overall potential revenue had he released multiplatform.
