Well, if Acti-Blizz starts a campain with Butleresque Douchbaggery, that won't help matters. So I agree there.
As it is, one of the few things that would make me NOT buy Starcraft 2 and Diablo 3 would be any such annoying marketing push on those games.
That's what I love about PC games, by and large they don't get a big marketing blitz, so I don't have to worry about missing out on these games due to my above pledge.
