Is that before or after they charge you over £100 to play a load of kiddy shovel-ware. no offence to people who want this - but as a core gamer i'm not interested in it.

And as a core gamer you're not Microsofts target for Kinect. MS already have a great core gamer following. Kinect is MS's attempt to steal a chnk of Wii's casual pie. That's not to say their won't eventually be some cool core games for Kinect, but those types fo games won't move consoles. Crap aimed at kids and the Oprah audience will move consoles.
