You guys are stupid, putting a PS3 in a closed cabenet isn't bright to do at all. First of all, you don't need tests to know that the PS3 moves more hot air than the PS3. These things are already known, as the cells in the PS3 are faster. Thus they produce more heat than the counterpart. The greatness of the PS3 is it keeping the system cooler than the 360. Sony does things right, they didn't skimp on cooling, because they knew what they had.

Congrats, you did a useless test. And yes, it's fair that the 360 would RROD due to the issue is with heat, look it up. The PS3 is like a good computer, if it overheats it goes into safety and will stop the damage and not kill the system. The difference is a higher quality build than what Microsoft decided to put out, in my view because of saving money in the mass production of the system.

Also I believe both target max levels are the same on both cells, the 360 is just defective, and the PS3 runs hotter faster if not getting room to breath. Thus making the PS3 get hot rapidly which isn't as dangerous as the 360 which keeps a hot temperature for a longer time, which causes RROD. Think of it this way, MMA fighters might be in a more violent sport, but Boxers get head injuries a lot more because they're getting punched in the head for a long period of time. The MMA fighter will be fine the next day, or what not, but the Boxer not..
