That was a problem in the PC version of the first Mass Effect - but it was Garrus's face, not his armor. His face texture was extremely low-res no matter how high you turned the texture detail for everything else.
And people just gonna hate. Some people bring in particlar understandings of what constitutes "story" or even "RPG", and do not acnowledge other understandings as valid enough to leave alone.
