I didn't even have to grind for her because of said skillz. Also Dimension Door sucks.

I can say the same about any number of turn based RPGs. You can blaze through them at low levels with proper battle strategy, and turn usage. If you feel the need to grind to win then it is because you lack the "skillz" needed for the game.

Maybe in some, not all. The same way you can do that for some action RPGs, not all. And I'd say the tougher action RPGs require more skill than the tougher turn based RPGs.

I found grinding in Persona and DDS to fix problems I had with bosses :P Well you still need some skill though in those games, damn Beelzebub in DDS1...but I still say there's more skill involved in certain action RPGs.

I'm not a very huge fun of action RPGs or real time JPRGs (even though I love Tales battle system). Even if you're right though, not every JRPG can and should become a real time one. Games like Dragon Quest, Pokemon and Final Fantasy should remain turn based... Just like Tales games must refrain from becoming too cinematic, like FF.
