GT5 will easily sell 5 million units. What makes GT special is the legs the game has. People just buy the system, and it's one of the games many people turn to have to purchase. GT5 will sell 3-4 million units in the first month (2 Million launch week). Will hit over 5 million about 6 months into the life of the game. And in my opinion I think it will finish off at approximately 8-9 million units. If Sony makes a bundle, you can see GT5 sell 10-12 million units. I mean GT5P sold nearly 3.8 M, which is the biggest Prologue release ever. If GT5P sold 1.4 million unit in month one, you can expec the ful game to sell at LEAST double that. So for safety sake, let us say GT5 ends with 2.8 after the first month. Take the same curve and it will sell about 7.64 million units in a little more than two years. That's pretty damn good estimate from only 35 million PS3 consoles. One of five people will own GT5, maybe even more.
I think the next GT game will come out in only 2 years time, 3 at the very most. They created this system to be such high quality so they can modify it with ease and release a new game without needing a ton of time. They will not have to create EVERYTHING from scratch. After this the PS4 will be announced and GT7 will come out on it. P-Digital seems to release two games per-system cycle and it's in good trend to follow that.
