Fallout

Deus Ex

Ultima VII

System Shock 2

Planescape Torment

Baldur's Gate II

Diablo II

Star Wars Knights of the Old Republic

Betrayal at Krondor

Mass Effect (I don't consider Mass Effect 2 to be really an RPG)

 

That is a pretty good list, but there is a disturbing lack of gold-box games there.  Also, titan quest if we are including aRPGs as I prefer it to Diablo II
