meaning? All I am saying is that the appearance, or otherwise, of GT on Top gear is all but irrelevant from a sales perspective.
What do you believe?

Any awareness raised about a product is good for sales, it's part of the reason why the Wii is what it is today. Car enthusiast watch Top Gear, GT5 is one of the best driving games that's ever going to be released, what makes you think that maybe 5% of those 350 million people that watch the show won't pick up a PS3 or the game?
|
5%... so you believe that it is possible that the appearaed of Gt5 on Top Gear could cause a spike in PS3 sales of 17m, or that GT5 will have 17m more sales than usual?
this forum gets crazier by the week...
anyone else agree with doobie?

I just grabbed a percentage and chucked it in there to make my point about how any sort of awareness would help the game out. I don't like making prediction's when I have nothing to back up my numbers. The debate isn't about how much it will sell, it's if the appearance on the show will benefit the game's sales.

Lets not market any game at all.. no one is interested anyway. Whats the point.
I mean, RedBull Flugtag, wtf does an engergy drink have to do with a home made airplane contest? Thats not their main audience. I mean, what does Coors Light have to do with UFC? Everyone doesent drink beer.
