SO TRUE man, I'm an Ecuadorian and the average Xbox 360/PS3 game costs $95-$100. PSP games are really expensive too, costing up to $60. Wii games cost $90. The only moderately priced games are the DS ones, costing at most $45 (yes, that is unexpensive when taken in perspective).

And don't get me started on the price of consoles and the availability of certain games...

Game prices are about the same here if you buy them new on e-bay-like sites. On actual retailers a Wii game will go for around 130 dollars.

A Wii itself is around 550-600 in stores and about 475 on those sites.

If you take into account differences in income and free money it's ridiculous. I don't think many people would pay 400 USD for a game in the USA.

So yeah, americans complaining about the cost of games is kinda funny.
