I'm not surprised.
Do you know what, I feel awkward picking my neice and nephew up from Primary school, and most of the fathers there look worried as well about what people will think, it's ridiculous, but the way the media has sensationalised how there's a peado "on every street corner" apparently, has mothers and schools paranoid.
