Largest MP Map ? nah.

Some of the biggest? , not sure as well.

you do realize the scale correct.  Cause either you don't or your just wrong.  First indicator is how small a scrorpion tank is.  Its litteraly a spec off in the distance.  Those tanks are huge. Second is that the panorama view at the end is just a piece of the map lol thats not the entire thing the rest of the map is what we were seeing earlier and thats behind the red guy.  Name me one map larger than that on a console.

don't know if you played any other FPS but i'll tell you its not THAT big.

He said on console. Are you just looking for an arguement? because so far that's all your doing. Oh btw you can give us examples of other FPS console games with maps that huge?

Dude, just end it. You're beating a dead horse.

Thing is, map size dosen't equal good. Huge maps can seriously damage competitive multiplayer. Look at BFBC2 and Killzone 2. Or some of the maps on CS and the Call of Duty franchise. Usually the most played maps are the ones that offer fast paced games and/or that can be played tactical. If running off to the other side of the map takes 2 min, its not a good map for competitive play.

And you have to look at how the game is designed aswell. If you can jet pack your way through a big ass map in a few momements time, then you need to have a big map. But games like Killzone 2 and Battlefield 2 have that "realistic" type style. Take BFBC2 for example.. it would take forever to travel from start to finish by foot in these maps. But Halo 3 type play would allow you to cross them alot faster. The gameplay is so different.

So in scale to how the game is played, i'd say BFBC2 has bigger maps, but that dosen't mean anything.
