Well, while I do think repurposing PSP spec (or an upgraded PSP-spec, Wii-style) for other devices makes sense (tablet, phone, etc), I don't really see the benefit to using Android. Why would Sony try to use an open source, 3rd party OS (with it's own store even) for their PSP line? Just doesn't make much sense structurally, competitively or logistically to me as surely Sony could craft a more appropriate and effective solution internally, and it seems like most pushing the idea are going for an "enemy of my enemy is my friend" strategy vis-a-vie Google vs Apple. And that's... well, a bit naive to say the least.
