I think people have the right to think what game looks better, no matter what their criterias or experience with the series are.

thats like going to a tasteing food contest and ariving late and basing the winner on the only one you've tried without tasting the others, you can't base a winner unless you've tried them all, becuase its friggin obvious wihch one is "visually stunning"  and which one isnt as good

Is it?  It is obvious for you that REmake is more visually stunning than RE 4, so anyone should think like you do?

The fact that you don't mention the very first version of the game for the PS1 seems to indicate that you're being a hypocrite here.

After all , for it's time RE was a big step forward compared to what had come before.  Yet unlike RE PS1,  RE 4 is basically the most advanced game on the system it came out on.

Then you can factor in the fact that some people will prefer full 3D graphics over pre-rendered backgrounds like in REmake.

After all is said and done, I don't think you know if everyone who votes for 4 haven't played the older games first.

Let me just translate what you just said..... I think that resident evil 4 is the most advanced, and my opinion is obviously better than yours phinch, who stupidly believes REmake is better which is dissagreing with my opinion... now whos being a hypocrit?

who cares if the back grounds are pre rendered, the poll wasnt which was the most advanced games on the system it came out on, it was which resident evil was visually stunning!
