I don't think Hillary's appearance is what will hurt her (frankly, there are plenty of things not to like about her beyond her appearance). It's really a shame this TV age is so obsessed with looks. But if one superficial reason not to vote for her gets some traction, it will more likely be her voice. But you never know. For diplomatic initiatives it may prove to be a potent weapon of attrition grinding the other side into submission.
As far as her being a woman? Yeah, I could see a large number of men equating a vote for Hillary as a vote for their mother-in-law or ex-wife.
