I'm going to call on both Dead Rising and Nights as this. I have them both, and while they have their flaws, they have their strengths as well. So they belong more in situational recommendations. Like if you found the original Dead Rising to be not enough about directly confronting the zombies, and the controls sucking, CTYD is a good alternative, but I can't recommend it if you like the sandbox and exploration of the original more. Nights is a good game to just relax, take in the atmosphere, and try to beat your best times, but don't expect anything like the more intense flying games.

The Conduit is also situational. While the control is pretty great, the overall game made me glad I got it on a lower price. If you can't get this for $20 or less, I can't recommend it.

As for a direct disrecommendation, I put We Cheer 1, if you actually want that kind of game. Go for the sequel. It has more options, and better calibration, so you can match the controls to your personal speed better.

A flashy-first game is awesome when it comes out. A great-first game is awesome forever.
