Pretty good, but way too much $.
You could get 2 GTX480s for that price and run them in SLI for less (essentially what GTX490 is going to be) which seems to generate better benchamrks on most games.
To be honest I think I am done with dual GPU cards myself. There are so many issues...micro-stuter, so so GPU scaling in some games, crazy heat/or lots of noise...
I plan to sell my gtx295 and upgrade to single GPU gtx485 when it comes out.

Haven't heard of the 5970 having any of the above problems tbh. Also you should look to ATI and not nvidia at the moment they have better cards at present and will soon be releasing a whole new line up of cards.

I have to stick with Nvidia since I invested in Nvidia 3D vision after trying out IZ3D and Tridef 3D using a HD 4850. 3D vision is by far the best out of the 3 for 3D gaming...
Otherwise I just googled "5970 microstuttering" and the problem is still there. Every multi gpu setup has it...
